Kirsty Heaton

Mindfulness coach

Kirsty's personal growth in Mindfulness and Meditation began in 2013 when she attended her first Mindfulness workshop. It was life changing for her and since then, practicing and living mindfully has become her passion. She has dedicated the last five years to attending workshops, events and retreats around Mindfulness and self-discovery. She is now passionate about bringing empathy, compassion and deep listening into her coaching practice with clients. Originally from Yorkshire in the UK, Dubai has been Kirsty's home for the past 30 years. She am married to an Emirati and has two children. She grew up in Dubai, attending JESS then Dubai College and later went on to gain work experience at various multinational companies, before finally settling into a corporate position at Saudi Aramco, where she worked until her son was born. Kirsty has always been active in the community devoting time to charity work for both local and international causes, visiting the elderly and helping refugees displaced by war. In more recent years she volunteered at The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, where she had the pleasure of hosting guests from around the world and offering them a safe space to ask questions related to the culture and religion here in the UAE. She strongly believes that by creating a platform for open dialogue, guests and residents alike are able to see the many similarities that join us, rather than differences that divide us, bringing a sense of oneness and understanding.

"The organisation was great. Speakers were experienced and informative. It's a great opportunity to be part of the Summit, and we will be part of it in the coming years."
